Cartel Comedy was founded in 2019 by three local comedians with the mission to provide a platform for local comedians of all experience level in the Greater Wellington region.

Our Mission

We strive to provide a platform that caters both to the comedians and to the audience.

We produce various open mic nights and shows to give comedians from all experience levels and backgrounds the opportunity to gain valuable stage time in a supportive environment, which also allows the audience to see different comedic voices at play.

We have a small team which we are hoping to grow as we do more and more.

The Man Simply Known as Bob

The Man Simply Known as Bob as been apart of the Wellington comedy scene since 2016. Bob has performed all over the country from Auckland to Queenstown.

He is working hard to create more opportunities for comedians to perform, while also giving the public a chance to see more live comedy.
